Google Maps are simply ready-made maps. That is my definition of this intelligently-created feature of Google. I can bet that you can't find map websites that are as amazing as this Google Maps. Finding ways to any specific region, place, famous companies/restaurants, etc. or even the traffic, terrain and satellites of the area has never been this simple. One can also create his own map of his desired specific region and post a link to the map to show people exactly where the place is and also how to get there. Nonetheless, there are so many purposes for showing maps besides the reasons I've stated above. For this, I have created a map for my group in Facebook which is 'Support PETA!' The map shows the different various quarters/headquarters of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in different continents. This somehow simplifies people tasks in order to let them know where PETA is located if they're planning to go to that destination.
