I guess that's the point/message that I'm trying to convey in my last assignment.

It's an edited video that I have created.

I've used 3 different softwares to make this video; Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and also iMovie.

In this video, I've incorporated some parts of the videos that my lecturer have provided me as well as videos from Youtube that is related to animal abuse.

Also, I have included my Facebook group logo and profile picture.

There's A Place In Your Heart

I was listening through some Michael Jackson's Songs;
and i thought these 2 songs are just touching enough for us to remember the significance of the earth especially the animals.
Just listen carefully to the lyrics and give it a thought or two for a minute.
The lyrics, no matter how the tune and rhythm goes, touched our hearts emotionally and literally.
May God bless him for what he had done :)

¡Sexta Asignación! = Sixth Assignment!

Don't you think abusing animals is just damn barbaric?

I couldn't agree more.

That's b'cause we have feelings like how animals do.

In this assignment, I'll have to create a logo that's related to my Facebook group.

In my logo, I decided to pen out a dolphin figure while making it a little abstract.

The purpose of me using a dolphin is that, dolphins are being killed in cold-climate countries and they have since becoming more less.

Hence, I annouced a message in the logo which is "Stop Animal Abuse!" regardless whether is it a dolphin, seal or any other animal.

The PeTA type will convince people that this actually will help spread out the motive of this logo.

I hope this logo will invite more people in not only supporting my Facebook group, but also send out the message to everyone.

¡Quinta Asignación! = Fifth Assignment!

My apologies for not updating this assignment up earlier.

So yeah, I took quite some time to complete my profile picture for my Facebook group which is 'Support Peta!'

I had a whole lot of ideas to mix around elements but I chose to make it as simple as possible.

With this, I took about 4 hours to actually create my face and background in relation to what my group is all about.

It wasn't as stunning as I expected it to be, but it was satisfactory to me.

In this assignment, I decided to use these 3 pictures to merge them altogether:

During the process, I initially took quite a long time to experiment with the tools in Photoshop.

I wanted to see which examples are the best samples and goes well with my Facebook group.

I used Move, Zoom, Lasso, Air Brush, Eraser, Air Brush and also the Clone Stamp.

Then I played around with the Hue/Saturation and the Colour Balances.

Not to forget, I mixed the foreground with the background using the Darken Blending Mode.

Adding warmth to the background was a nice mixture to the colour preservation of the foreground while adding film grains to the picture.

Last but not least, creating a type at the bottom right of the pic, adding a border/frame and sharpening the picture sums it up.

Nothing Is Forever (8Q Field Trip)

I wasn't as composed as I thought when I reached the museum.
We had a field trip to the 8Q- S'pore Art Museum to see and learn more about art is all about.
I didn't know what the arts in the museum exhibits are all about but I was sure excited to figure out what kind of paintings and sculptors are done by some local famous art designers/artists known globally and even by students from the S'pore School of the Arts.
From the arts and designs done by them, I learned that abstract art is not only about creativity, but also about the intelligence in crafting and experimenting them.
Judging from a rather obscene film I watched in the museum, I realised that the cast or actors can be of the same person playing different roles at the same period/part of the film.
The German language too was simply exquisite and fascinating with its English subtitles which really sums up the innovation between the collaboration of the media and arts.
Also, I learned that technology has been invading the world ever since with some cool inventions of the radio-infrared headphone which is wireless and the mini televisions without any cables.
S'pore too has become one of the most advanced countries in the world with ingenious works or arts; from the old hideous kampong atap houses to the skyscraper-flats, fruitless charcoal iron to the genius electrical iron.
Nothing is never the same way when art arrived.
It's more of the quality of what is beautiful and appealing, or of more than ordinary significance :)

AND A VERY HAPPY HANDSOME BIRTHDAY TO MY GOOD FRIEND, YONGHONG!

Lets go clubbing together someday yeah bro, haha.

We're Okay, Sean's OK!

I was trying out and exploring the tools and application of Photoshop CS3.

(due to some confusion in using illustrator. haha)

I did some blending modes and some air brush tools besides eraser.

Also, I used some scaling of the pictures to make it to a suitable size.

Yeah, managing a few pictures into a photo wasn't so bad.

Go figure how many pictures i blended in :D

It's more of a collage of my face and the tricks of my favourite skateboarder, Sean Malto.

The Outcome: A 'not-up-to-the-standard' picture. heh :)

¡Tercera Asignación! = Third Assignment!

Oh yeah, before i forget, in this third assignment we were supposed to do a blog.
The purpose of this blog is to list down our experiences and reflections of our assignments which also known as journal.
So yeah, this is my blog.
I decided to use Blogger as I thought it has the simplest features and navigation around among all the other web blogs.
As it was my first time using a blog, I wasn't familiar with the settings and layouts which explains the simple and plain black background as well as the common layout others used.
